Iran and Belarus discuss cooperation in the field of science

March 20, 2018. Iran’s Ambassador to Belarus Mr. Moustafa Oveisi and Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus Mr. Alexander Shumilin emphasized the importance of scientific cooperation between the two states on Monday, March 19, 2018. In the course of the meeting Iran’s Ambassador called on both countries to take advantage of the possibilities Belarus and Iran can offer to each other within the implementation of mutual projects. Belarus and Iran could activate the mutual cooperation in this field, he said. In his turn Mr. Shumilin welcomed the development of Belarus-Iran relations in the sphere of science and technology and announced that the 7th session of the Joint commission for higher education, science and technology between Belarus and Iran will be held in 2018. Mr. Shumilin also noted that the program for further development of the joint scientific cooperation between the two countries is being implemented thanks to the assistance of the Iranian side.
